Kent is currently looking for new occupational endeavors. Kent is a spirited role-up-your-sleeves business leader with an infectious energy, passion and desire to succeed! He encourages his team and peers to adopt and establish the AIO philosophy – Adapt, Improvise and Overcome. This adopted business mantra was introduced unknowingly in 2007, when one of Kent’s executive counterparts was to co-present to over 500 attendees at a conference, when the audio visual equipment went out. They had minutes, while the technicians attempted to fix the problem - to create a new approach to presenting the material in an equally compelling manner! The AIO mind-set was born...implemented and executed that evening. Kent and his counterpart presented from the front and the back of the room, using two orange cones they noticed sitting outside by the public restrooms that had just been cleaned. The impromptu megaphone devices proved to be a hit, where the large audience was transfixed on each speaker ‘volleying’ the information back and forth - causing a fury of thought provoking questions, leading to the largest single sale of this technology in the Real Estate vertical in one day! Exemplifying Kent’s leadership efforts to galvanize key management personnel to dramatically improve an underperforming P/L balance sheet, he played a key role in a turnaround – from a loss of $600K, to net operating profit of $15 million in three years. The team achieved a company-wide leading 28% net operating contribution, increasing revenues by 34%, leading expense reduction efforts by reducing fixed costs by 14%.  Kent is a golf historian with more than 150 books on the game and has been privileged to play some of the most storied courses hosting the US Open, PGA Championship and hopes to include Scotland and Ireland on his list of historic venues to play! Kent completed his undergrad at the University of Maryland, where he received the Outstanding Marketing Student Award his senior year.  Kent began working on his MBA, when a promotion meant a relocation was in order. Who knew he would move seven times in nine years! Kent currently lives in the DFW MetroPlex, Kent is the proud father of two young men, Cameron 24 and Chase 22. Cameron, a graduate of Pace University in New York, studying Musical Theatre, is an actor and singer/songwriter and lives in Los Angeles. Chase played Select (travel) Hockey for 9 years and led his team to victory in the High School National Hockey Championship in 2018. Chase is currently focused on studying Technology Management & Architecture on a Hockey scholarship, attending Oswego State University in Upstate New York .
